Frequently Asked Questions

About the sessions

How many participants can a session accommodate?

Most games run well from 12 to 60 participants. Some scale to 100+. The right number depends on which game you’re running and what you’re trying to surface. We’ll work this out during the briefing conversation.

How long does a session take?

Sessions run between 90 minutes and half a day. The game itself typically takes 45–90 minutes; the debrief takes the rest. Cutting the debrief short defeats the purpose — the game generates the data, but the debrief is where development happens.

Can sessions be run virtually?

The games are designed for in-person facilitation. They rely on physical presence, table-level negotiation, and real-time observation of group dynamics — all of which lose significant fidelity over video calls. I don’t run virtual sessions, and I don’t think I should.

What’s the lead time to book a session?

Ideally 3–4 weeks, to allow time for a proper briefing conversation, alignment on objectives, and any logistical setup. For custom game design, lead time is longer — typically 6–8 weeks minimum depending on complexity.

Do you travel outside Bengaluru?

Yes. I’ve facilitated sessions across India and internationally. Travel costs are billed separately. Get in touch and we’ll figure out the logistics.

About the games

Can I run just one specific game, or does it need to be a series?

A single session works perfectly well as a standalone intervention. Many clients run one game as part of a larger programme, or as a reset after a period of change. You don’t need to commit to a series.

How do I know which game is right for my cohort?

Each game is designed to surface specific leadership behaviours. The briefing conversation is where we match the game to your objectives. It helps to come in with a clear sense of what you want participants to take away — even if it’s rough.

Can the games be customised for our context?

The existing games aren’t customised — they’re designed as they are, and changing the mechanics changes what they surface. If your context requires something built specifically for your organisation, that’s a custom game design engagement.

Do you license the games to other facilitators?

No. Every session is facilitated by me. The facilitation is where most of the developmental value lives — and it’s not something that transfers cleanly through a train-the-trainer programme. See the philosophy behind the work for the longer answer.

For training vendors and L&D consultants

How does the vendor partnership work?

You bring the client relationship and manage the commercial proposal. I deliver the session and debrief. You retain the client and any follow-on work — I don’t pitch to your clients directly. Full details on the Partner With Us page.

Will you compete with me for the client?

No. The partnership only works if you can trust that I won’t. I don’t maintain direct sales relationships with clients you introduce, and I don’t offer to work with them independently after a vendor-introduced session.

What materials do you provide for proposals?

After a briefing conversation, I can provide game summaries, session outlines, learning objectives, and facilitator bios formatted for proposal use. Get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
